William Milton begins his first season as the Northern Enid women's basketball head assistant coach.

"I would first like to thank coach Scott Morris for my addition to the Jets women's basketball family," Milton said.  "I am excited to help lead the Lady Jets on and off the court and look forward to continuing the tradition of success here."

Milton has a diverse background in basketball in playing, coaching, recruiting and player development. He has coached at several levels that include as a head coach at the high school level (Notre Dame H.S./Wichita Falls, Texas; Coolidge H.S./Coolidge, Texas; Graford H.S./Graford, Texas), a head assistant women's basketball coach and recruiting coordinator at the NJCAA Division I level (Frank Phillips College/Borger, Texas; Hill College/Hillsboro, Texas), assistant women's basketball coach and recruiting coordinator and an interim head women's coach at the NCAA Division II level (Midwestern State University/Wichita Falls, Texas; McMurry University/Abilene, Texas), before his service at Northern Oklahoma College Enid..

"I'm very excited and blessed to have the opportunity to serve the Jets Family as the head assistant coach of the women's basketball program," said Milton. "I believe our team needs someone who will be passionate about the program and who will help them reach all of their goals as student-athletes in the classroom, in the community, as well as on the basketball court. I'm looking forward to filling this important role and I'm grateful of the opportunity."

"I am looking forward to building relationships with the administration, alumni, supporters, and current players. Our program will continue to produce quality student-athletes that will represent Northern Oklahoma College-Enid well, on and off the floor. I can't wait to hit the ground running and continue the excellence that Coach Morris has had here."
