Jets' teams, athletes earn NJCAA Academic Awards

Three NOC Enid athletic teams earned academic honors from the NJCAA this week.

Women's basketball, softball, and baseball each earned above a 3.0 GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.

Women's basketball earned a 3.48 while softball earned a 3.40.  Baseball earned a 3.21.

NOC Athletic Director Alan Foster said, "While we enjoy our success on the field or court of competition our student athletes continue to impress with their performances in the classroom as well."

Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2021-22 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA
