Jets sweep Southeast Nebraska, move to 4-0

The NOC Jets improved to 4-0 Friday afternoon with a 9-0 and 8-6 sweep of Southeast Nebraska in Enid.

Jets 9, SE Nebraska 0

The NOC Jets pounded 15 hits and smoked Southeast Nebraska 9-0 Friday afternoon.

Griffin Keller had three hits including his first home run of the season while Dylan Caplinger had three hits for the Jets.  DJ Calvert, Clayton Peterson and Wesley O'Neill had two hits each.  Both O'Neill's hits were doubles.

NOC led 5-0 and then put the game away with four runs in the 6th.

Logan Carter picked up the win on the mound allowing just one hit over four innings.

Jets 8, SE Nebraska 6

The Jets jumped out to a 6-0 lead and then held on for an 8-6 win Friday.

Tyler Wood had three hits and three rbi's for the Jets while E.J. Taylor added two hits.  Wood and DJ Calvert had two runs scored.

Braxton Douthit started for the Jets allowing just one earned run on one hit.  Douthit struck out seven SE Nebraskas hitters.

Chris Hansen picked up his first save of the year allowing two earned runs on two hits.
