Jets win one of three against Iowa Central

The NOC Jets (10-3) played three one run games against Iowa Central this past weekend winning one of three.

Iowa Central 10, Jets 9

Iowa Central scored five runs over the final four innings to beat NOC 10-9 Saturday afternoon.

Brendon Woelfle led the Jets with two doubles and three runs scored.  Seth Graves added two runs scored for the Jets.

Braxton Douthit was the starter for the Jets allowing five runs and six hits.  Steve Owings took the loss out of the pen allowing five earned runs.

Jets 7, Iowa Central 6

NOC used late home runs from EJ Taylor and DJ Calvert to rally past Iowa Central Sunday.

The Jets trailed 6-3 in the 6th when EJ Taylor blasted a three run homer to tie the game 6-6.

The Jets then walked it off in the 7th on a solo home run by DJ Calvert.

Taylor added a single for the Jets.  Taylor and Calvert each scored two runs.

Wyatt Sellers earned the win out of the Jets' bullpen tossing two scoreless innings striking out six.

Iowa Central 4, Jets 3

NOC Enid couldn't overcome a 4-1 early deficit lsoing to Iowa Central 4-3.

The Jets trailed 4-1 before rallying to 4-3 in the 5th on a DJ Calvert home run.

Evan Kowalkski took the loss allowing four runs in three innings.  Brandon Hudson was stellar out the Jets pen allowing only hit over three innings.
