Western swept the NOC Enid Jets Sunday 9-2 and 10-2 to end the 2019 regular season.

The #11 Jets (33-16) finished the regular season tied for 2nd with NOC Tonkawa at 12-8 in Region 2 play.  2nd ranked Western is the Region 2 regular season champs.

Western 9, Jets 2

Western scored eignt runs over the first two innings and beat the Jets 9-2.

Brendon Woelfle and Matthew Henderson had hits for the Jets while Shane Nixon had the lone Jet run batted in.

Kaleb McCullough (8-1) suffered his first loss of the year with bullpen help from Stevie Owings and Lucas DeGarmo.

Western 10, Jets 2

Western broke open a 4-2 game in the late inning scoring six runs in the final two innings to beat the Jets 10-2.

Dylan Caplinger hit a solo home run for the Jets while DJ Calvert and Matthew Henderson had two hits each.  Calvert also added a run batted in.

Jarrett Sweeney started for the Jets allowing one run and two hits over five innings.

The Jets open Region 2 Tournament play against Murray State on May 9 at 3:30 p.m. at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
