Jets pound out 15 hits in 12-6 win over Rose State

The NOC Enid Jets (3-5) pounded 15 hits in a 12-6 win over Rose State at David Allen Memorial Ballpark Tuesday.

Shane Nixon and Jordan Coffey homered and seven NOC pitchers allowed four earned runs over nine innings.

Ambren Voitik had three hits while Connor Thaxton, Brett Smith, Coffey, and Nxon added two hits each.

Coffey had three runs batted in.

"Always a good day at the ballpark walking out with a win," said Jets coach Scott Mansfield.  "We were able to answer an early deficit and continued to add on runs throughout the day while minimizing on the mound. We were able to get a number of guys in the lineup and get guys innings on the mound that needed work. We will continue to get better and get ready for a good series this weekend."

NOC Enid hosts Iowa Central for a three game series starting Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
