Christian Estep worked eight innings allowing just two runs in an 8-2 NOC Enid win over #15 Western on Sunday in Game 2 of a conference doubleheader.

The Jets lost Game 1, 13-6.

In Game 2, Estep allowed eight hits while striking out four in earning the win.

He had plenty of support as the Jets pounded 14 hits in the 8-2 win.

Cooper Smith had two hits and three runs batted in while Cale Wetwisk added three hits and three runs scored.  Jhett Creel, Jesse Ponce, and Graham Hylton added two hits each for the Jets.

In Game 1, the Jets out hit Western 9-8 but lost 13-6.

Gabe Hamilton had two hits while Wetwiska had two runs batted in.

Daniel Schlehuber, Jesse Slim, Aaron Baker, and Brodie Finlay worked for the Jets who issued 11 walks while striking out five.

NOC Enid hosts Western at noon Monday.  

The Jets (33-18) are in second place in the conference, one game behind Western.
