
Corbin Kawn and Logan Wade combined to work seven innings of one run baseball and the Jets scored five runs in the sixth to beat Carl Albert 6-1 in Game 1 of a conference doubleheader on Sunday.
NOC Enid improved to (36-14) improved to 11-8 in league while the Vikings (32-17) fell to 8-11.
NOC Enid trailed the Vikings 1-0 until the fifth when Ivan Gomez walked and later scored on a Jesse Ponce groundout.
The Jets then rallied for five runs in the sixth taking advantage of five walks and a hit batter. Jhett Creels' double was a key hit in the inning.
Kwan worked five innings allowing one run on four hits. Logan Wade (2-0) earned the win with two scoreless innings.
The Jets host Murray State Wednesday in the final home regular season series of 2025.
