Jets fall to Seward Co

A poor shooting performance doomed the NOC Enid Jets in a 77-53 loss to Seward County on Saturday afternoon.

The Jets shot just 27 percent from the field and 22 percent from beyond the arc, said head coach Greg Shamburg.

"We turned the ball over too much," he said. "Some of that was out of the frustration that we couldn't shoot. Giving up 77 on the road is not bad, we just couldn't make a shot."

Specifically, NOC Enid was only 4 of 18 from beyond the three-point line.

The Jets (1-1) were led in scoring by Ray'Shawn DotsonDenzil Haynes and Lense Ramey, who each scored eight points.

NOC Enid's next game is Wednesday at Coffeyville, Kan.
