Jets host Link Year Prep

The NOC Enid men, 5-2 and riding a four-game winning streak, will host prep school power Link Year Prep of Branson, Mo., at 7 following the women's game.

Jets coach Greg Shamburg said Link Year Prep is very similiar to Sunrise Christian of Wichita in that it gets players from all over the country and some Internationally.

"There are guys on their team that should get a chance to play Division I,'' he said. "It will be a big challenge, there's no doubt about that.''

What makes it even more challenging is Link Year Prep's rotating roster.

"They play different guys on different days so you're not sure who will show up,'' Shamburg said. "It makes it difficult to scout them.''

The Jets are led by Dyaire Holt (16.3), Sebastian Gray (11.9), Tony Hall (10.7) and Lense Ramey (10.3). They are coming off a 87-81 overtime win over Hesston College.
