Gruber, Holt named NOC Enid Student Athletes of the Week

NOC Enid's Basketball Student Athletes of the Week for Dec. 4 are Kammi Gruber and Dyaire Holt.

  Gruber, a sophomore guard from Chisholm High School, scored a team high 17 points against Murray State including five 3-pointers.  She is shooting 42 percent from behind the arc which leads the team, is second in the conference and 42nd in the nation.

  "She has consistently displayed outstanding leadership both on and off the court," said Lady Jets head coach Scott Morris.

  Dyaire Holt is a 5-11 sophomore guard from Albany, New York.

  Holt averaged 22 points and 2.0 assists for the Jets last week.  He shot 43 percent from the field.

  "Dyaire's work ethic and passion continues to show throughout every game, his leadership and effort everyday shows his willingness to do whatever it takes to win games," said Jets head coach Greg Shamburg.   "His stats reflect how hard he works and he will continue to improve as conference games begin."
