Jets pick up third conference road win

TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Jets won their third conference road game of the season Monday night 90-83 over Murray State in Tishomingo.

NOC Enid (7-12) improved to 3-3 in conference play while Murray State (5-14) fell to 2-4 in the OCAC.

Sophomore Tony Hall led four double figure scorers with 23 points.  Romio Harvey added 18 while C.J. Jones and Rance Kendrick added 13 each.  Ray'Shawn Dotson had 11 points and a team high 12 rebounds.

"We dug ourselves a pretty big hole again and found ourselves down," said coach Aaron Butcher.  "Our guys once again showed their resiliency as we fought back and eventually got the win. We had several guys that made big plays down the stretch. We are getting better, and are starting to see more positive things in larger stretches."

The Jets trailed 44-37 at half before outscoring Murray State 53-39 in the second half.

NOC shot 47 percent (31-67) from the field and 43 percent (13-30) from 3-point range.  Murray State shot just 36 percent (8-34) from 3-point range.

The Jets will be in action Thursday night against Eastern for Homecoming at 7:30 p.m.
