NOC Enid sophomores Tony Hall and Romio Harvey combined for 49 points in a 97-96 win over Eastern at the Mabee Center Thursday night.

NOC Enid (8-12) improved to 4-3 in conference play while Eastern (17-3) fell to 5-3 in league play.

"I am very proud of the way our guys performed last nigh," said coach Aaron Butcher. Eastern is a good team who is really tough to play against. We once again had several guys make key plays late in the game to seal the win. We have some good momentum right now and we keep improving each game."

After Eastern led at half 50-43, there were nine ties and 11 lead changes in the second half.  NOC Enid took the lead for good at 92-90 on two Rance Kendrick free throws with 1:05 left.

A Romio Harvey free throw with :27 extended the lead to 93-90 but Eastern scored with :17 to cut the lead to 93-92.

Harvey then made four free throws in the final :09 to extend the lead to 97-93.  Eastern made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to cut the lead to 97-96.

NOC travels to NEO Monday night for a key conference game in Miami.

Hall had 27 points, 19 in the second half.  Harvey added 22 while C.J. Jones had 15 and Ray'Shawn Dotson had 14.
