On Enid Elementary Day, the NOC Enid Jets routed Mid-America JV 104-54 Monday afternoon at the Mabee Center.
Approximately 250 Enid students attended Monday's game.
"It was a fun day," said Jets' coach Aaron Butcher.
"We challenged our guys to set the tone early with our defensive presence and we did that," Butcher said. "We are really growing on that end of the floor and need to continue that as we now get into conference play."
Monday's game was never in doubt as the Jets raced out to a 25-5 lead. NOC extended the lead to 58-25 at halftime and built the lead to as many as 52 points in the second half.
Ikenna Okeke led five Jets in double figures with 18 points. Abraham Rodriguez had 17 off the Jets' bench while fellow reserve Jalen Stamps had 13.
Starters Zach McDermott had 14 while Josh Perkins added 12.
The Jets (10-7) are back in conference play Jan. 9 at NEO. NOC Enid is 1-2 in conference play.
