MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma -- NOC Enid fell to Connors 70-55 in the NJCAA Region 2 Quarterfinals Wednesday night in Muskogee.
The loss ended the Jets's season at 16-14.
Preston Murphy led the Jets with 23 points while Jordan England added 12.
The Jets led Connors 23-21 and then went on a 10-2 run to build a 33-32 lead with 1:19 left in the first half. Connors then answered with an 8-2 run but NOC still led 35-31.
Wednesday's game was tied at 48-48 with 7:37 remaining when Connors went on a 10-0 run to take a 58-48 lead.
NOC Enid would not get closer than seven the rest of the way. Connors outscored the Jets 22-7 over the final 7:37.
Nate Brown led the Jets with seven rebounds while England added five. Murphy added five assists.
The Jets shot 35% from the floor and 26% from 3-point range. The Jets did shoot 92% from the line (12-13).
