Cooper Battisti begins his third year as an assistant for the Northern Oklahoma College Enid men's basketball program.

For the past two seasons Battisti has helped guide the Jets to the Region 2 Championship game, falling one game short of a NJCAA tournament berth.

In two years, Battisti has helped tutor nine players that have gone on to earn scholarships at four-year universities.

 

Prior to NOC he spent a COVID shortened season as the assistant coach and interim head coach at Oklahoma City University.

 

He began his coaching career in 2019 as a graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas Monticello.

He helped lead UAM to a 19-12 record and post-season tournament berth.

 

Battisti was a four-year letterman and played in 79 games at Southwestern Oklahoma State University from 2015-19.

He scored a career high 14 points against Southern Nazarene University on February 24, 2018.

 

A native of Oklahoma City, Battisti attended Southmoore High School where he was a three-year letterman and served as team captain his senior year.

He graduated from Southmoore in 2015. Battisti earned a Bachelor's Degree from SWOSU in Health and Physical Education in May of 2019 and a 

Master's Degree from UAM in Physical Education and Coaching in 2020.
