NOC-Tonkawa Runs Away With Early Lead In Game 1 of Bedlam

NOC-Enid fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-0 loss to rival NOC-Tonkawa on Tuesday. Tonkawa scored on a single by Farrah Bonds in the first inning. In the first inning, Tonkawa got their offense started. Bonds drove in one when she singled. A single by Madi Powell in the third inning was a positive for the NOC-Enid Lady Jets. Taylor Lane led things off on the rubber for Tonkawa. She surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out 13 and walking one. Lindsi Spring toed the rubber for Enid. She went six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking zero. Spring and Powell each managed one hit to lead the Lady Jets. Tonkawa scattered seven hits in the game. Baylee Scrimshire and Bonds each had multiple hits for Tonkawa. Scrimshire went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits.
