Lady Jets Control Game 2 of Bedlam

The NOC-Enid Lady Jets took home a 6-3 victory over NOC-Tonkawa on Tuesday. Enid got on the board in the first inning. A sacrifice bunt by Lexi Vargas scored one run for the Lady Jets. Enid notched four runs in the second inning. The Lady Jets put the pressure on, lead by by Madeline Pitts and a groundout by VargasBrooklyn Sparkman pitched the Lady Jets to victory. She went five innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking zero. Lindsi Spring threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Spring recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Enid. Morgan Rohwer toed the rubber for Tonkawa. She lasted one inning, allowing two hits and four runs while striking out one. Madi Baughman threw six innings out of the bullpen. Marrissa Gibson led Enid with two hits in three at bats. Tonkawa collected eight hits on the day. Rohwer and Baughman each had multiple hits for Tonkawa.
