Lady Jets Come Back To Win in Extras On A Walk-Off Walk

A walk-off walk led the Lady Jets past NOC-Tonkawa 7-6 on Sunday. The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. The Lady Jets collected ten hits and NOC-Tonkawa had five. NOC-Enid opened up scoring in the first inning when an error scored one run for the Lady Jets. In the bottom of the seventh inning, NOC-Enid tied things up at six. Courtlyn Head singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Lindsi Spring got the win for the Lady Jets. She went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out two and walking zero. Jakayla Whitney was on the rubber for NOC-Tonkawa. She surrendered four runs on three hits over one inning, walking one. Madi Baughman and Taylor Lane entered the game from the bullpen, throwing five innings and one and one-third innings respectively. The Lady Jets totaled ten hits. Kaitlyn Stark and Head both managed multiple hits for NOC-Enid. Stark led the team with three hits in four at bats. Baughman went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead NOC-Tonkawa in hits.
