Jets softball split games with Butler

The NOC Enid Jets (5-5) split a Thursday doubleheader at Enid against Butler (KS).

The Jets lost the first game 14-4 but rebounded to win the night cap 6-0.

In game 2, the Jets rode the pitching of Bailey Gilliam and Lindsi Spring who combined for a five hit shut out.  Gilliam allowed four hits while Spring allowed just one hit in the final three innings.

The Jets had only four hits but capitalized on three Butler errors.

In the first game, the Jets were the victim of two seven run innings by Butler.

Summer Sorice scored three runs for the Jets.
