Jets split with Labette

The NOC Enid Jets softball team split with Labette Thursday afternoon in Enid.

Labette won the opener 10-2 but rallied to win the night cap 6-5.

Jets 6, Labette 5

In game two, Lauren Ball's 7th inning double scored Kelsey Gammage and Hannah Kvasnicka rallying the Jets past Labette 6-5.

Gammage stared the inning with a double and Kvasnicka walked to set up Ball's heroics.  The double was Ball's second of the game, she had three runs batted in on the day.

Desirea Tecumseh hit a solo home run for the Jets in the 2nd inning.

Lindsi Spring picked up the win in relief of Bailey Gilliam.  She tossed 4.1 innings of scoreless relief, striking out four.

Labette 10, Jets 2

In game one, Labette out hit the Jets 10-6 in the 10-2 win.

Jade Stricklin, Kelsey Gammage, Lauren Ball, Courtlyn Head, Summer Sorice, and Kaitlyn Thomas had hits for the Jets, Sorice had the lone extra base hit, a double.

Victoria Vasquez and Lindsi Spring combined in the circle for the Jets.
