Jets earn road split at Rose State

The NOC Enid Jets split a pair of conference road games at Rose State on Tuesday.

The Jets won the second game 8-6 in eight innings after dropping the opener 4-1.

NOC (12-16) is now 2-6 in NJCAA Region 2 play.

Jets 8, Rose 6

Desirea Tecumseh singled and Kaitlyn Thomas doubled in the 8th inning to lead the Jets to an 8-6 win over Rose in eight innings on Tuesday.

NOC had 12 hits in the game.  Thomas, Jade Strickland, Kelsey Gammage, Addison Gilliam, and Tecumseh had two hits each while Lee, Tecumseh, and Thomas had two runs batted in each.

Megan Lee homered for the Jets in the 1st inning.

Lindsi Spring (6-8) pitched a complete game allowing five earned runs on 12 hits.

Rose 4, Jets 1

Rose State scored two runs in the 1st and cruised to a 4-1 win over NOC Enid.

NOC had three hits, a double by Summer Sorice and singles by Hannah Kvasnicka and Megan Lee.

Bailey Gilliam was the starter for the Jets followed by Lindsi Spring who tossed five innings in relief.
