ALTUS, Oklahoma -- The NOC Enid Jets swept Western Tuesday afternoon in Altus 5-3 and 8-3.
NOC (14-22) improved to 4-12 in Region 2 play.
Jets 5, Western 3
Kaitlyn Thomas singled home Mackenzie Simmons and Courtlyn Head in the 7th inning leading the Jets to a 5-3 win over Western.
The Jets had a 3-1 lead before Western rallied for the tying runs in the 6th setting up the Jets two run inning 7th inning rally.
Thomas had a big day for the Jets with two hits and three runs batted in. Jade Strickland and Addison Gilliam had two hits each.
Lindsi Spring went the distance in the circle allowing three runs on five hits striking out six Western hitters.
Jets 8, Western 3
In Game 2, the Jets jumped out to a 7-0 lead and coasted to the 8-3 win.
Mallorie Wilburn led a 12 hit attack with three hits, two runs batted in and two runs scored. Megan Lee and Kristen Goodman had two hits each while Jade Strickland added two runs batted in.
Mayson Pettus started in the circle going 4.2 innings allowing two earned runs on four hits. Victoria Vasquez tossed 2.1 innings of one hit relief.
