The NOC Enid Jets Softball Team opens play in the Region 2 Softball tournament Tuesday, May 7, at Connors.

NOC (19-33) has split four games with Connors (15-29) during the 2019 season.

Should the Jets win against the Cowgirls in the one game series, NOC Enid would face top-seeded Seminole (47-2) Thursday at 4 p.m. at Seminole.

Leading the Jets in hitting heading into the conference tournament is Megan Lee at .340.  Desirea Tecumseh leads the Jets with seven home runs while Lee has 37 runs batted in.  Kelsey Gammage leads the Jets with six steals.

In the circle, Lindsi Spring leads the Jets with 10 wins and a 3.76 ERA.  She has 191 strikeouts on the year and two saves, all team highs.

The tournament ends May 12.
