WEATHERFORD, Texas -- The NOC Enid Jets opened the 2025 season Friday at the Weatherford Softball Classic losting to host Weatherford (TX) 6-5 on Friday.
The Jets trailed 5-2 before scoring three runs in the 6th to tie the game at 5-5. Weatherford then earned a walk-off win with a run in the 7th.
Albaney Pritchard and Brylee Brungardt-Davis each had two hits with Davis adding a double and two runs batted in. Sonia Mena added a two run single for the Jets.
Lakelynn Thompson worked 6.2 innings allowing one earned run on seven hits while striking out six.
The Jets (0-1) were set to face Paris (TX) Friday afternoon.
