The NOC Lady Jets picked up their 13th victory Saturday with a 58-46 win over Arkansas Baptist.

Sophomore McKenna Pulley led NOC with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

"Thank goodness for McKenna," said head coach Scott Morris.  "She bailed us out on both ends of the court.  She not only scored for us but held their best player to five points."

The Lady Jets were rusty having not played since Dec. 14.

"It's kind of expected the first game back," Morris said.  "That's why we schedule a couple games before we resume conference play.  But we weren't very good."

The Lady Jets led 31-11 at half before being outscored 23-13 in the third quarter.

"We had a nice lead at half but we weren't focused enough in the second half," Morris added.  "They made a run and got back in the game before we settled down in the fourth quarter."

The Lady Jets shot just 31 percent from the floor in winning their fifth straight and 13th overall.

Andi Pierce also reached double figures with 12, Euresia Brown added 11 and Kammi Gruber 10.
