SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -- Shelby Black had 29 points including two 3-pointers in the game's final 1:30 leading the NOC Enid Lady Jets to a 74-70 win over Seminole Wednesday night at the NJCAA Region Tournament in Shawnee.
NOC Enid (21-8) will now face NEO Friday at 3 p.m. at OBU.
The Jets trailed throughout taking their first lead at 64-63 with 4:50 remaining on a layup by Lauren Wade.
Seminole then took a 68-64 lead when Black drilled a 3-pointer with 1:20 cutting the lead to 68-67. Then, Black drilled another and NOC had a 70-68 lead with :34.9 remaining.
Black then drew an offensive foul with :25.2 left giving the Lady Jets possession. Madelyn Hankins and Black then sealed the win each hitting two free throws to give NOC the 74-70 win.
Wade added 15 and Hankins 11 for NOC Enid.
Wade and Tonijah Fortune had eight rebounds each while Fortune added three steals.
The Jets trailed 8-0 before scoring their first basket on a Shelby Black 3-pointer.
The two teams split in the regular season each winning on the other's home court.
NOC Enid trailed 34-26 before a 10-4 run cut the lead to 38-35.
Black had 10 points at half while Madelyn Hankins had nine.
