NOC Jets Blows Away Carl Albert by Eight Runs

NOC Jets easily did away with Carl Albert 11-3 on Thursday

NOC Jets fired up the offense in the first inning, when Griffin Keller hit a solo homer.

In the bottom of the third inning, Carl Albert tied things up at three when Joshmar Doran singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

NOC Jets pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth, an error scored one run for NOC Jets.

NOC Jets put up five runs in the seventh inning. EJ Taylor, DJ Calvert, Dylan Caplinger, and Clayton Peterson all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Jarrett Sweeney was credited with the victory for NOC Jets. He lasted six innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out eight. Lawson Isaacs threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Mad Salgado took the loss for Carl Albert. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out one.

NOC Jets hit three home runs on the day. Keller had a dinger in the first inning. Peterson had a long ball in the seventh inning. Taylor went for the long ball in the seventh inning.

NOC Jets collected 12 hits on the day. Keller, Calvert, Taylor, and Caplinger all had multiple hits for NOC Jets. Keller led NOC Jets with three hits in four at bats. NOC Jets did not commit a single error in the field. Caplinger had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.

Late Score Costs NOC Jets against Carl Albert

NOC Jets stayed in it until the end, but Carl Albert pulled away late in an 11-10 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at ten with Carl Albert batting in the bottom of the eighth when Chris Hansen threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Carl Albert.

Matt Conerly drove in five runners in the loss. Conerly drove in runs on a single in the first and a home run in the second.

NOC Jets opened up scoring in the first inning, when Conerly singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

After NOC Jets scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Carl Albert answered with two of their own. NOC Jets scored when Dylan Caplinger homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Carl Albert then answered when an error scored one run for Carl Albert.

NOC Jets scored four runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to a home run by Conerly and an error on a ball put in play by Griffin Keller.

Davis Rogers led the Carl Albert to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted one inning, allowing two hits and one run while striking out two and walking zero.

Lawson Isaacs took the loss for NOC Jets. He allowed three hits and three runs over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.

Cooper Harris started the game for NOC Jets. He went six and a third innings, allowing seven runs on nine hits and striking out five.

NOC Jets socked three home runs on the day. Keller put one out in the eighth inning. Conerly went deep in the second inning. Caplinger had a long ball in the fifth inning.

NOC Jets tallied 14 hits on the day. Wesley O'Neill, Conerly, Brendon Woelfle, and Caplinger each managed multiple hits for NOC Jets. O'Neill led NOC Jets with four hits in six at bats.

Carl Albert totaled 14 hits in the game. Joshmar Doran, Kinner Brasher, and Ben Klutts each racked up multiple hits for Carl Albert. Doran went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead Carl Albert in hits.
