With Cooper On The Mound, NOC Enid Shuts Out Redlands

Cooper Harris didn't allow a single run as NOC Eniddefeated Redlands 6-0 on Thursday. Harris allowed just five hits.

A single by Xavier De Leon in the first inning was a positive for Redlands.

Harris took the win for Northern Oklahoma College Enid Jets Varsity. He surrendered zero runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out five.

Ryan Hildner took the loss for Redlands. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out two and walking zero.

Clayton Peterson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead NOC Enidin hits. NOC Eniddidn't commit a single error in the field. Matt Conerly had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

NOC Enid Claws Back, But Falls Just Short Against Redlands

Northern Oklahoma College Enid Jets Varsity's effort to come back from down eight runs in the seventh inning came up just short, as they fell 10-9 to Redlands on Thursday. NOC Enidscored seven runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Dylan Caplinger in the seventh, a passed ball during Wesley O'Neill's at bat in the seventh, a single by Matt Conerly in the seventh, a walk by Caplinger in the seventh, and a home run by Conerly in the ninth.

Despite the loss, NOC Eniddid collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Redlands had 13 hits on the way to victory.

NOC Enidgot things started in the second inning. NOC Enidscored one run when DJ Calvert singled.

Redlands pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Keyshaun Smith hit a solo homer and Joshua Detweiler homered on a 3-1 count, scoring three runs.

NOC Enidnotched six runs in the seventh inning. The rally was led by a walk by Caplinger, a single by Conerly, a home run by Caplinger, and by O'Neill.

Dalton Reynolds was the winning pitcher for Redlands. He lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out three. Dakota Jones and Palmer Stevens entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Lawson Isaacs took the loss for Northern Oklahoma College Enid Jets Varsity. He allowed seven hits and six runs over four innings, striking out five.

NOC Enidtallied two home runs on the day. Conerly put one out in the ninth inning. Caplinger went for the long ball in the seventh inning. Redlands hit four home runs on the day. Xavier De Leon went for the long ball in the fourth inning. Smith put one out in the third inning. Detweiler went yard in the third inning. Matt Garroutte went deep in the sixth inning.

NOC Enidracked up 11 hits in the game. Conerly, EJ Taylor, Clayton Peterson, and Calvert each collected multiple hits for Northern Oklahoma College Enid Jets Varsity. Conerly went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead NOC Enidin hits.
