Jets Baseball Teams Up with Miracle League of Enid

Jets Baseball Teams Up with Miracle League of Enid

For 2 weekends in October, the Jets baseball program will team up with the Miracle League of Enid in celebration of the game of baseball. The Miracle League of Enid is a T-Ball League for disabled youths and adults. The Miracle League plays its games at ABC Park in Enid.

The Miracle League is a non-profit organization that is run through Noon Ambucs and 4RKids. The 4RKids Foundation, Inc. was founded in Enid, OK, in 2003.   A small group of parents and educators of children and adults with special needs recognized the need for more services and opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in Garfield and surrounding counties of northwest Oklahoma. The mission of 4RKids is to promote community awareness of individuals with special needs, and to provide vocational, educational, and social/recreational opportunities for children and adults with special needs.

4RKids provides support to children and adults with special needs.  Miracle League grew out of a partnership of 4RKids and Enid Noon AMBUCS.  It began around 2009 and has been growing ever since.  We have 67 players that play on 6 teams with ages ranging from 4 years to 60 years.

Each weekend will send different Jets baseball players to ABC Park to enjoy a good afternoon of baseball and most imporantly, friendship. Here are some quotes from Jet players about their experience with the Miracle League.
