Capps signs with Southeastern

NOC Enid utility player Scout Capps signed with Southeastern Oklahoma State University, coach Scott Mansfield announced this week.

Capps is from Dale High School.

"Scout missed his freshman year due to injury but advantage of the time he had and got himself better in a number of different aspects of the game," said coach Scott Mansfield.  "He took advantage of the fall and early spring and continued to grow and work. Really excited to see what he does. "

Mansfield had praise for the NOC Enid Jets sophomore class.

"This group is going to be remembered as part of the best two-year recruiting classes we've seen in Enid because they were able to achieve heights that we only hope to return to," Mansfield said.

"These guys were successful on the field and will continue to be successful there but they will also continue to be successful in the classroom and more importantly, life," Mansfield added.  "I appreciate their contribution to this program and myself and wish them the absolute best and wish them unbelievable success moving forward, love every one of these young men."
