NOC Jet infielder Alec Buonasera rececently signed with Texas State University.

Buonasera is from Plano, Texas.

"Alec was a big part of what we did in 2019 and was a big part of what we were planning and were going to do in 2020," said coach Scott Mansfield.  "Just a knowledgeable young man that is a gamer. He is going to make Texas State better just by showing up daily and working hard on and off the field."

Mansfield complimented this sophomore group.

"This group is going to be remembered as part of the best two-year recruiting classes we've seen in Enid because they were able to achieve heights that we only hope to return to," Mansfield said.  "These guys were successful on the field and will continue to be successful there but they will also continue to be success in the classroom and more importantly, life. Appreciate their contribution to this program and myself and wish them the absolute best and wish them unbelievable success moving forward. Love everyone of these young men."
