Jets pound Oklahoma Christian JV in Edmond

EDMOND, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Jets pounded Oklahoma Christian JV 14-4 and 12-2 Saturday in Edmond.

The Jets improved to 7-10 with the doubleheader sweep.

In Game 1, the Jets broke open a 6-3 game with eight runs in the fifth to win 14-4.

Conner Duncan led the way with three hits and four runs batted in while Nathan Gutierrez and Brayden Bock had two hits each.  Owen Tracy added three runs batted in.

Zac Roden, Jesse Slimp, and Brodie Finlay worked for the Jets allowing four runs on four hits.

In Game 2, the Jets broke open a 1-0 contest with 11 runs over the final two innings to beat OCU JV 12-2.

Miles Lock, Kade Goeke, Gutierrez, and Tracy had two hits each while Gutierrez, Tracy, and Solomon James drove in two runs each.

Camden Gipson earned the win with three innings of relief.  Jack Cline and Mason Wildman also worked for the Jets.
