NOC Enid picked up two wins over UA Rich Mountain Wednesday in the conference opener at David Allen Memorial Ballpark 12-9 and 10-0.
While the Jets scored 10 runs on 15 hits in Game 2, sophomore Jack Cline was the story allowing just two hits over seven innings in the 10-0 win. Cline struck out 10 and walked one.
Brayden Bock had four hits including a home run and Ty Chapman chipped in with three hits and three runs batted in. Nathan Gutierrez had three hits and four rbi's from the lead-off spot.
In the opener, the Jets pounded 15 hits including three home runs in a 12-9 win.
Owen Tracy, Mason Poppen, and Holden Yoder all went yard for the Jets. All three had three runs batted in for NOC Enid.
Zach Roden earned the win with 4.1 innnings of work. Jesse Slimp earned the save with a scoreless seventh.
The Jets (11-10) are at UA Rich Mountain Sunday for a conference twin bill.
