Jets fall twice to South Arkansas

NOC Enid dropped a pair of conference games to South Arkansas 8-4 and 9-7 on Friday at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

In Game 1, Zane Chavez had two hits and two runs batted in for the Jets.  Brayden Bock hit a solo home run and Sammy Harris also drove home a run.

Zach Roden started for the Jets allowing five earned runs, Josh Rains allowed two runs over three innings.

In Game 2, the Jets rallied from 9-2 down with five runs over the final two innings but lost 9-7.

Harris and Holden Yoder homered for the Jets.  Harris hit a three run shot while Yoder's was a two run blast.

Jack Cline started for the Jets with bullpen help from Gunner Phillips and Andrew Bowman.

The Jets (12-13) faced South Arkansas in a series concluding doubleheader Saturday in Enid.
