Zach Roden goes six strong innings in win over Redlands

EL RENO, Oklahoma --  Brayden Bock singled home Evan Casey with the go-ahead run in the seventh while Zach Roden and Jesse Slimp allowed just three hits in a 2-1 Jets win at Redlands in the first game of a conference doubleheader.

The game was tied 1-1 until the seventh when Casey singled, stole second then advanced to third on a Sammy Harris single setting up Bock with the game winning hit.

Roden allowed just three hits and struck out three over six innings.  Slimp worked a perfect seventh to earn the save.

Bock's rbi ground out in the first scored Owen Tracy with the Jets other run in the first inning.

Redlands won the second game 5-3.

In Game 2, the Jets lost 5-3.

Harris and Bock had three hits each, Harris had a double and a triple for the Jets.

Jack Cline was the starter with bullpen help from Gunner Phillips and Josh Rains.
