Bock's two home runs leads Jets past Tonkawa

Brayden Bock hit two home runs and Evan Casey had four hits in a 14-6 NOC Enid win over NOC Tonkawa in Game 2 of a conference doubleheader Sunday in Enid.

The Mavs won the first game 16-5.

NOC Enid (19-24) is 10-14 in conference while NOC Tonkawa (30-14) is 16-8 in conference play.  The teams split the four game weekend set.

In Game 2, the Jets rallied from a 4-0 first inning deficit scoring 12 runs over the first four innings earning a 14-6 win.

Brayden Bock hit two home runs and drove in five runs while Evan Casey had four hits and scored four runs.  Ty Chapman added a triple, home run, and three runs batted in.

Sammy Harris, Jase White and Kade Goeke had three hits each in a 21 hit attack against six NOC Tonkawa pitchers.

Brodie Finlay earned the win in relief while Jesse Slimp earned the save working the final five innings.

In Game 1, NOC Tonkawa jumped out to a 16-1 lead and beat the Jets 16-5.

Holden Yoder homered and tripled for the Jets while Mason Poppen hit a two run shot in the fourth.

Maddux Mayberry, Andrew Bowman, Camden Gipson, and Christian Estep worked on the mound for the Jets.

The Jets host SAU Tech Friday and Saturday at David Allen  Memorial Ballpark starting at 1 p.m. each day.
