Jets pick up win over Carl Albert, lead in Game 2

POTEAU, Oklahoma -- The NOC Enid jets routed Carl Albert 12-2 on Thursday and lead Game 2 15-9 in the 8th inning.

The second game will be resumed Sunday when the Jets host the Vikings at 1 p.m.

In Game 1, the Jets erupted for four early runs and cruised 12-2.

Sammy Harris, Ty Chapman, and Kade Goeke had three hits each while Holden Yoder and Evan Casey had two hits each.

Jack Cline and Brodie Finlay combined on the mound allowing one earned run on four hits over six innings.

In Game 2, to be resumed Sunday, Nathan Gutierrez homered twice while Goeke added four hits and Brayden Bock had three as the Jets lead 15-9.

Chapman and Goeke had four runs batted in each.
