The NOC Enid Jets saw their season end Sunday night at the hands of Western 16-8 at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

The Jets finished their season at 28-31.

Sunday's game, delayed seven hours by rain, looked promsing as the Jets built a 6-0 lead but Western rallied for all 16 runs over the final three innings.

NOC scored two runs in the first as Brayden Bock bounced into a fielder's choice scoring Evan Casey and then Mason Poppen's single scored Holden Yoder and the Jets led 2-0.  Sammy Harris also stole home during the three run first inning.

Poppen then homered in the third inning scoring Yoder and the Jets led 5-0.

Harris then scored on a wild pitch in the fifth and the Jets led 6-0.

But Western then rallied in the final three innings to win 16-8.

Zach Roden started for the Jets allowing just two runs over five innings.
