NOC Enid Splits at Murray State

TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma --  The NOC Enid Jets split a pair at Murray State on Friday winning Game 1, 5-4 and dropping the night cap 6-2.

In Game 1, the Jets jumped out to a 5-1 lead and held on for the 5-4 win.

NOC Enid had nine hits, all singles led by Cooper Smith and Cale Wetwiska with two hits each.  Kade Goeke added three runs batted in for the Jets while Christian Estep had two runs driven home.

Estep earned the win working 5.2 innings allowing one run on two hits.  Julio Heredia earned the save getting the final out.

In Game 2, the Jets lost 6-2.

Miles Lock had two hits while Jesse Ponce and Gabe Hamilton each had runs driven in for the Jets.

Cale Wetwiska started for the Jets with bullpen help from Corbin Kwan and Aaron Baker.

The Jets (32-17) host Western April 27-28 in Enid.
