Jhett Creel and Cooper Smith homered as NOC earned a split with #17 Des Moines Area (IA) on Sunday with a 14-6 win.

Rhett Rutledge had three hits for the Jets while Creel and Cale Wetwiska had two hits each as NOC outhit the Bears 14-6.

Smith had three runs batted in while Creel, Graham Hylton and Rutledge had two runs batted in each.

Ty Pankonin (1-0) earned the win while Corbin Kwan earned the save with 3.1 innings of relief.

The Jets (2-2) host Northeast (NE) on Friday and Saturday in two doubleheaders.
