
For the second straight game, Ivan Lopez provided a walk-off for NOC Enid over Northeast (NE), this time 11-10 in eight innings.
This time, Lopez doubled home Jesse Ponce with the game winner for the Jets (4-2). Ponce reached base with a walk setting up Lopez' heroics.
Friday's second game got off to a wild start as the Jets led 7-4 after just one inning. After trailing 9-7, the Jets scored three unanswered runs to take a 10-9 lead.
Northeast then battled back tying the game at 10-10 before the Jets walked off Northeast for the second time in a day.
The Jets blasted three home runs with Cooper Smith blasting a three run home run in the first while Parker Jeffrey added a first inning solo shot. Cale Wetwiska blasted a solo shot in the sixth.
Gomez had three hits including a double and triple and two runs batted in. Jesse Ponce, Aiden Kilgore and Jeffrey added two hits each. Smith had four runs batted in.
Maddox Lawson earned the win with one shut out inning for the Jets in back of Garrett Payne, Logan Wade, and Blake Limberg.
NOC Enid won game won over Northeast 2-1.
