the NOC Enid Jets built a 39-31 halftime lead but couldn't hold on losing to NEO 73-67 at the Mabee Center Monday night.

NOC Enid (14-12) dropped to 5-7 in Region 2 play.  NEO (18-6) is 10-1 in league play.

The Jets jumped out to a hot start making nine 3-pointers in th first half.  Zach McDermott had four on his way a team high 19 points.

NOC Enid went cold to start the second half as NEO outscored the Jets 25-5 to take a 56-44 lead with 9:00 left.

The Jets battled back cutting the lead to 69-67 on a traditional 3-point play by Ikenna Okeke with :27.9 remaining.

The Norseman, however, made four free throws down the stretch to seal the 73-67 win.

Rance Kendrick also reached double figures with 15 while Okeke added 10.

The Jets are in action next on  Feb. 17 at Connors.
