The NOC Enid Jets suffered their first conference loss of the season Thursday night to Murray State 81-75 in Tishomingo.

The Jets were led by Jalen Stamps with 19 while Ikenna Okeke also reached double figures with 13.

"It was a tough game, both teams battled," said coach Chris Gerber.  "I thought we played well in the first half besides some careless turnovers and missed free throws. Second half, we continued to make turnovers but got better offensive looks. I was pleased with the effort and fight against a really good team, but in order to beat good teams like Murray, we can't turn the ball over like that and take the easy points at the free throw line."

NOC trailed the Aggies 36-35 at half.  

The Jets travel to NOC Tonkawa Saturday at 4 p.m.
