Fourteen NOC Enid Jets scored in the season opener as the Jets easily routed OnPoint Academy 99-47 Tuesday night.

Jordan Thompson led the Jets with 14 while Jaylon Jackson-Curvey added 13, and CJ Wilson 10.

"We played hard and shared the ball," said coach Chris Gerber.  "We had 25 assists and that's really good and I'm glad we can share the ball.  Defensively, I think we need to improve, just some little technique things and it will increase our intensity. Good first game, but now we gotta move on and keep progressing."

Thompson and Daylon Andrews led the Jets with five assists each while Jackson-Curvey, Caleb Wilson, CJ Wilson, Chris Wiseman, and Marcell Perry had five rebounds each.

The Jets are at Mid-America Christian JV Thursday at 7 p.m.
