Daylon Andrews and Jordan Thompson combined for 52 points but in a losing effort to Hill College 97-92 on Friday in the Jets Classic.

The Jets (7-4) led 48-44 at half but were outscored 53-44 in the second half.

Andrews led the Jets with 29 while Thompson added 23.  The two combined to shoot 17 of 29 from the floor and 7 of 11 from behind the arc.  As a team, the Jets shot 50% from the field and 58% from 3-point range against the Rebels.

Andrews and Thompson each had 10 assists while Keivon Hudson led the Jets with nine rebounds.  Thompson added six steals.

Hill trailed by four at half but then built a 17 point second half lead which the Jets cut to 91-87 with :43.6.  Hill then extended the lead to 96-87 before the Jets scored late to end the game at 97-92.

The Jets host Southwest Christian JV on Monday at 6 p.m.
