The NOC Enid Jets jumped out to a 13-1 lead and never looked back routing #16 NEO 96-69 Thursday night at the Mabee Center.

The Jets (14-4) remained unbeaten leading the OCAC with a 5-0 record.  NOC Enid has won seven straight.

Jaylon Jackson-Curvey led the Jets with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Jordan Thompson had 17 points and eight assists.

"Offensively, we shared the ball well and were patient figuring out their zone defense," said coach Chris Gerber.  "We shot the ball with confidence and played together as a team."

"Defenisvely, I thought we were good the first half but gave up a lot of paint touches and putbacks.  We challenged them at halftime and I think our players responded well.  Tonight was a good win against a good team, though we have have room for improvement with a lot of games left."

After the Jets jumped out out to a 34-14 lead, the Norse cut the lead to 42-32 at half.

The Jets then blew the game open in the second half building as large as a 30-point lead.

NOC Enid shot 51% from the floor and 30% from 3-point range.

Raul Nunez also reached double figures with 12 while Daylon Andrews added 11, and Keivon Hudson 10.

The Jets host Next Level Prep Saturday at 1 p.m. and then NOC Enid hosts Seminole Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in their next conference game.
