Two Kole Scott free throws pulled the NOC Enid Jets within 51-49 against Connors Thursday night with 4:00 left but Connors went on an 8-0 run to build a 59-49 lead and then held on for a 62-55 win at the Mabee Center.

The loss dropped the Jets to 8-11 on the year and 0-5 in conference games.  Connors improved to 16-1, 3-0 in league play.

Marcell Perry and Cahlese Lee led the Jets with 13 points each while Kole Scott reached double figures with 10.

Lee had nine rebounds and Perry added eight boards.  Scott added four assists for the Jets.

Thursday's game was tied at 23-23 at half but Connors outscored the Jets 39-32 in the second half.

The game was tied at 23-23 after 20 minutes, then Connors went on a 9-0 run take a 38-29 lead early in the second half.

NOC Enid is at NOC Tonkawa for a conference game against the rival Mavs at 7:30 p.m.
