TONKAWA, Oklahoma – Cahlese Lee scored 30 points Monday night but the NOC Enid Jets fell short in a 75-73 barn burner at NOC Tonkawa 75-73.

The loss dropped the Jets to 8-12 overall and 0-6 in conference play while the Mavs (11-7) improved to 3-2 in league play.

The Jets built a double figure lead in the first half leading 42-32 at intermission before a crazy final 10 minutes that featured six ties and seven lead changes.

After leading nearly the entire game, NOC Enid trailed the Mavs 73-69 with less than 2:00 left but the Jets used a Lee lay-up and two Kole Scott free throws to tie the game at 73-73.  After the Mavs took a 75-73 lead with :10.8, Scott had one final chance for the Jets but his shot at the buzzer was just off the rim.

Lee was 10 of 18 from the floor and 6 of 11 from 3-point range.  Jayce Daniels added 14 from the Jets bench.  Marcell Perry had six rebounds and PJ Twa had five assists.

The Jets are at Murray State in a make-up game Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
