The NOC Enid Jets have been close to that first conference win on a number of occasions but Monday night the Jets finally pushed through beating Redlands 90-84 in overtime at the Mabee Center.

Cahlese Lee led a balanced attack with 21 points while five other Jets reached double figures.

Nate Brown added 17 while Kole Scott and Jayce Daniels had 12 each.  Jordan England and Marcell Perry netted 11 each.

"As a team, we battled and played well," said coach Chris Gerber.  "Proud of our offensive efficiency and defensive toughness, but we finally learned how important it is to stay discipline in late game situations."

"Twenty-nine assists is the stat of the night for me," he added.  "A lot of good individual performances but we played unselfish team basketball."

England led the Jets with eight assists while Nate Brown and Marcell Perry had six rebounds each.

The Jets (9-13) improved to 1-7 in league play while Redlands (10-12) dropped to 2-6 in conference.
